Game summary

Mead got out of the gate slowly and couldn’t quite catch up as they fell to Archbishop Mitty 61-47 in the Fitzgerald Tournament. Poor shooting doomed the Panthers, as they only managed 33% from the field. Max Hess was Mead’s top scorer with nine points.

Lake City survived a third quarter surge from West Valley-Yakima to win, 50-47. Jacob Dahl hit a clutch three in the final minute for Lake City and held on for the victory. Kyle Guice had 14 points and 7 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

Game summary

Lewis and Clark defeated Moscow 65-56 at the Fitzgerald Tournament. Not a single Tiger reached double-figure scoring, but Connor Hojnacki had nine points to lead LC (1-2) and Julian Welge, Isaiah Hernandez, Malik Dixon and Brody Asbury had eight each. The game was notable for the fact that 53 fouls were called in a 32 minute game.

Martina McCowan scored 18 points and Bendu Yeaney added 17 points to come out with the victory for St. Mary’s of Portland, Oregon over Gonzaga Prep.  With two minutes to go, Yeaney had a three point play that led to the win.  Laura Stockton led the Bullpups with 15 points.
